Paulo Branicio was an invited speaker at the CFMS100 – Century Fracture Mechanics Summit (CFMS) 2019, cfmsummit2019.sg. His invited talk titled “Mechanical Behavior of Nanostructured Metallic Glasses” discussed recent advances in metallic glass research developed in the group, in particular recent results produced by Suyue Yuan. The inaugural summit aimed to bring together global leaders to celebrate the achievements in the wide field of Fracture Mechanics since Griffith’s pioneer work 100 years ago. The Summit, featured a line-up of about 60 influential and visionary speakers from around the world and was held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Marina Bay, Singapore, on 8 to 10 April, 2019.
