Paulo Branicio visited the Materials Science and Engineering department of the University of California, Irvine and presented a talk on May 17, 2019. His invited talk titled “Deformation and Failure of Heterogeneous Metallic Glasses” discussed recent advances in metallic glass research developed in the group, in particular recent results produced by Suyue Yuan.
